Rose Cottage is in Church Road next to the Bull Inn I think. They are near to the mill, however I cnnot find ny trace of Haynes as millers. For information about Ann see Brasted Parish Chest as there is information there connected to Thomas Coomber

A John Fisher witnessed marriage. Mary Hunts parents were Thomas Hunt c. 1792 and Charlotte Champion c. 1796 both thought to be Stelling or Stanford parishes. There are Fishers and others in Elmstead however we were led to believe they were Elham area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

 

John Wingate lived at Sundridge Street cottage in 1880s.

he had several children baptised as follows

I have a photo of the paper mills but unless you send me your email I can't get it to you.

 

Two Mill Cottages used to be on the end of the mill and attached to the mill building.

 The Mill closed and it became a laundry among other things and now the site has been cleared and a few years ago new offices wre built there

 

I can probably give you more information about the family if you respond  As find I have spent time to gather the information and the person doesn't look for an answer

I have checked the gravestones in the churchyard at Sundridge and cannot see either of the names you are looking for. This is likely to be because many earliest gravestones were removed and set around the edge of the graveyard and are now illegible. However the 'church' should have a list of the changes and relevant names. Look up Sundridge Church and it should give the names of either the verger or vicar who should have a list.

I checked other places but haven't found the name in the timescales you have given  and those found were in a different area.

I'm sorry to tell you that the wife of the Earl of Ilchester died  last year and the place was cleared. However I know that they were friends with the Taylor Smith family in Westerham who are Antique Dealers and Alan Taylor Smith is interested in rare books and art. The Taylor Smith family has a shop in Westerham Kent and I'm sure they would be happy to assist you

The aircraft hangars used to be where there was a farm but now offices . Entering Chevening Road from the traffic lights follow it round on your map and go past the first left turning which is Combe Bank Drive you then pass the vicarage which may be named .There are a semi detached cottages on the right and then a detached house where opposite there are now offices. This is where the hangars used to be. Haven't a lot more information off hand but  do recall being told there were some US service men's offsprings left behind
